Every End is a New Beginning

Quarter No. 4 at SCAD: check!

And after passing three courses this quarter, I have now reached the half-way mark towards 180 credits for my college degree. It’s crazy how quickly these past three months went by – it feels like just yesterday that I was complaining about the 100-degree weather at the beginning of August, and now I’m busy singing along to the Christmas Pandora station and decorating my house with icicle lights for the holidays. As much as I love this time of year, I’d go back to the heat in a heartbeat if it meant slowing down my experience here and getting to relive some moments from the past few months. I have met so many great people and been blessed with such awesome opportunities that it scares me how everything seems to be moving at the speed of light.

But alas, time goes on, and there is so much more waiting ahead for me. Over winter break, I plan to rebrand myself as a designer, finally developing a cohesive business card, resume, and portfolio site – so keep an eye out for my new professional image! Then, next quarter, I will be taking a motion graphics course where I can expand my skills to a 4D platform. I am in the process of applying to study abroad in Lacoste, France as well, and I can’t wait to explore the land this summer while taking classes in travel drawing and printmaking. If all goes as planned, I’m set to graduate in the fall of 2016, and who knows where life will take me after that!
