Nicholas Sparks' Savannah Book Festival visit

I met my favorite author today!!

I don’t read often, but when I do, I read Nicholas Sparks. His work is the only thing good enough to make me actually commit to purchasing and finishing a novel, or two, or ten… I can barely even keep track of all his amazing stories I’ve had the pleasure of reading. Not to mention, his movies are just as classic – I still watch The Notebook and A Walk to Remember every time they’re on television, even though I have them both practically memorized by now. All in all, I just really love Nicholas Sparks.

When I heard that he was coming to town for the Savannah Book Festival today, I purchased tickets immediately so I could hear him talk about his newest book, The Longest Ride, tonight at 6pm in SCAD’s Trustees Theater. It was such a cool experience to learn the process behind his writing and so much more about his lifestyle – he’s an even better person than he is an author, if that’s possible! I also purchased a signed copy of The Longest Ride and was able to greet him after the event! Here are some photos:
