This job has been an extra rewarding one for me. I've worked with the bride since last summer to create a whole brand package for her wedding: a custom logo design, lots of pattern exploration for the perfect stationery, save-the-date postcards, graphic elements for the wedding website, a Snapchat filter... and more! I just received the final invitation suite in the mail last week and it was so exciting to see how everything turned out. Take a look at the photos below and some of the process along the way!
Tonight I'm doing what I do best -- drawing cute lil flowers and fancy lettering for a wedding-related festivity! This time I'm designing an invitation for a bridal shower next month. Take a look at what I just finished up:

Wedding season is around the corner, and I've been keeping myself very busy with lots of custom illustrations, invite designs, calligraphy... my absolute favorite types of side projects to take on!
This one here is a design that will be used for the back of the wedding invitations, RSVP cards, etc. as a custom "map" of the bride and groom's story. It features the chapel where they were engaged, the Charlotte NC skyline, their wedding venue, and new family home complete with their pup smilin' nearby. The flowers are the ones in the wedding and the cotton is significant to the venue's history. I had such a fun time working on it and LOVE how the final piece turned out!

I had the pleasure of repurposing a little sketch I did in France for a classmate who found her future husband there! Here's the design I put together for their wedding invitation. It features the Lacoste landscape (originally drawn with Micron pens and watercolor pencils) and a little digital calligraphy to match it. I designed both an English and French version! Congratulations to MacKenzie and Philippe :)
