The Gables at Chadds Ford, nestled in the heart of historic eastern Pennsylvania, needed a symbol to amplify its rustic elegance and capture the intimacy of their dining experience in a custom logo design. This solution pairs a gable (triangular portion of an outer wall underneath its roof) with soft, organic hand lettering that ties its name to its values, creating a strong and unique identity for the local restaurant.
Exploration for the design began with digital sketches that were given to the client for discussion of which features they preferred and disliked. This feedback helped direct the creation of one more refined sketch and vector variations of that design, which led to the final image that is now in use.
